 | August 13, 2003 - Wednesday | |
Aside from lowering the prices for shirt and adding 2xl and 3xl as possible sizes, I've also lowered and adjusted the prices of the CDs. Since Otakon, I've found a good pricing scheme that seems to work. ^_^ If there's anyone who paid the higher prices and wants the difference back, e-mail me and I'll do it ^_^
On a similar note, later this week, I plan to put up my lami-cards on the site. I realized at Otakon that was something I sold at cons that I hadn't put on my online store yet.

The button really did say "club"!
Back from Otakon and we'll all have our con reports up soon in some shape or fashion.
BIG HUGE THANK YOU's to everyone who came by the booth!
And even bigger ones to those of you that told us you read the comic, or had been a fan of Young's artwork for years. You totally made his year ^_^
The boy seriously doesn't think that many people know about (and like) his stuff.
Silly. :3
More later, I need sleep!

Just to clarify so I don't get any more e-mails about this...
According to dictionary.com:
Bar
1. A relatively long, straight, rigid piece of solid material used as a fastener, support, barrier, or structural or mechanical member. 2. a. A solid oblong block of a substance, such as soap or candy. b. A rectangular block of a precious metal
So yes, even though it's an ibeam that fell on my brother, it is indeed a bar. ^_^
|
[^Young^] - 10:18 AM PDT |
mmm... ibeam.
does it come in candy colors, too? :3
well, that don't look like titanium. looks like galvanized iron.
...
wait... you mean the titanium armor actually gave way to the iron ibeam? ...and completely flattened, no less. u_u oh NOOOOOO!!!! my world (and sense of physics/chemistry)...and louis-doctrination is crumbling! o.O

ARGH! I thought reformatting would solve the problem but it didn't. Recently I've been getting this problem on my system where I can't seem to copy and paste files and stuff. Then I gotta reboot. It seems to only happen when I'm online thought. If I'm offline then things are dandy. I believe it has to do something with the svchost.exe file cause I did get some pop up messages about it. This sucks.

Oh yeah. And welcome back fellas!

[^o0Kynger0o^] - 11:09 AM PDT |
O_o
Someone needs to tell A-sama to stop smoking crack. It's bad for him...
I'd tell him, but he scares me right now...
*wibble*
|
[^e^] - 11:28 AM PDT |
Oy, it could just be a mass thing. I-beams are massive... His titanium armor could be rather thin. Perhaps as thin as the titanium used in the titanium powerbooks. =]
Oh yeah, and welcome back guys. Probably bug you people later for details on how the con went.

Cool... If Jon and Louis post as well we'll have the whole, regular gang on this rant space.
|
[^SEan^] - 4:37 PM PDT |
*piku* Was I being mean again? o.O I'm sorry, I honestly thought it was funny--not ill-meant at all--but I guess I'm not as funny as I think I am. u_u I apologize to anyone who might've been offended by any of my comments above.

It's just that sometimes A-sama gets all quantum on us. It's a good thing. We could harness it and run a small country!

I got msblast.exe too! #@$%?!

[^o0Kynger0o^] - 1:18 AM PDT |
Haha! If anything can stop Hiroman X, it would be an iBeam.
And, if you still have that problem Kingsley: patches from Microsoft.
I do hope Young, Aaron, Sean, Jon, etc, are all similarly patched (this really only applies to people running NT, 2k, or XP). Oh, and this applies to our fair readers too. Try to update before August 16th, that is dead day; supposedly the worm is programmred to attack windowsupdate.microsoft.com, so if you aren't updated by then... well, we'll see how resiliant microsoft's servers are.
EDIT: Oops, I meant 16th, sorry.
Thanks for the catch, Sean

Aren't you posting that a little late considering today is August 14th?
|
[^SEan^] - 10:06 AM PDT |
To highlight my complete lack of software knowledge:
Huh? O_o
What the hell are you guys talking about?
|
[^e^] - 11:41 AM PDT |
Yay! All updated! Did a test and left my system online and no problems. However I guess I'm just gonna shut off my system on the 16th just in case. I found that file too and was able to remove it from my task manager and registry. Sneaky little thing. Then I did an update. To sum it all up E-chan, there was a nasty hack goin' on this week affect hella computers out there particularly those using NT, 2000 and XP and who never updated. I was one of 'em. It sucked. My system wouldn't copy and paste which really sucked cause I really needed to copy and paste in Flash. At first I thought it was due to the huge amounts of pr0n I was downloading. But then I was happy to find it wasn't. Yay! For some other systems it just simply locked it up or made it randomly restart. I heard it was also responsible for an entire crash for one of the DMVs in one state. This one was really nasty cause it didn't come in the form of anything. You just had to be online to have it on your system. And since I haven't done a windows update I fell victim to the virus. Of all the people why me?! WHY?!?! WHHYYYYYYYY?!!! Oh well. Back to pr0n!

If you go to microsofts home page there is a link in the upper right hand corner that says "Update: Actions for Blaster Worm" You can find links to the appropriate Windows update there.
The worm is more of a concern for those who leave their computers on for long periods of time.
|
[^SEan^] - 2:23 PM PDT |
Hmm, New York, Cleveland, and Detroit have been hit by power outages (among other cities). See here. I wonder if the MSBlaster, or another worm using the same exploit, had any part in this? Nah, they probably use IBM, HP, or Tandy to run their machines.
Anyway, yeah, this is my third post concerning the MSBlaster worm and the patch/fix for it. I suppose Erin will see it as a forced reboot/crash a minute or two after booting up. Best bet would be to, I guess, boot into non-network safe mode, kill MSBlaster, and load up the patch from a burned CD or something. Maybe.
I don't know, since I don't run XP and I don't have any infected systems to play with.
