This is a mod of my original rant... Young's comic means his rant should get more coverage...
Anyway, it occurred to me that the US is perhaps the worst country in the world to pick on, unless you *want* your home to get razed, rebuilt, and infected with all manner of McDonalds, Pepsi, and Disney. I mean, not only did we develop the A-Bomb, we're the only nation in history to use it, and not once, but twice!
We aren't a great political creature, so I can understand people being pissed at us. It still seems stupid to kick us and not expect to be totally and entirely obliterated from this planet... I'm not trying to scare anyone or threaten anyone, but I mean, just look at our track record... We're horrible in wartiime, even when we're 'losing', and that much worse when we're winning... I mean, we don't even have to get *destructive* nasty, we can just, like, spray pesticides (DDT), smog (unburned petroleum by products), and mind warping music (Back Street Boys, or Britney Spears)... *shudder*
We don't have to destructive to be... um... evil... okay, so I don't endorse any sort of violence or random retaliation, and I guess I'm just showcasing how twisted and demented I am. I *do not* want to see any Islamic or Arabic or *any* persecution, in the US or in the world, whether because of my rant or anything else. Enough people have suffered, and I'm just joking. Our 'enemy' is not people, no matter how angry I get or seem. We stoop to terrorism ourselves if we allow ourselves to attack the innocent, or the civilian, or the uninvolved. If there is an enemy, it's intolerance and hatred. Don't forget, those 12 who hijacked those planes, they were ordinary people, and they thought they were doing the right thing. Don't yourself get angry and go do something stupid and horrible, otherwise you're really no different than the people who flew a airliner into the WTC buildings...
