Yay! WWT is over and it's the last con of the year! W00t! We were packing away Al for the last time and I guess we accidentally packed one of our friends, Pocky, away too. I guess we'll see him again next year. ^_^

I also finished MT's files for book 3 and sent them off this weekend. I gotta throw together something for Ushicon's doujin and I still have to work on Nanowrimo. Gaaaah~ I don't have a job and I'm still really busy!

YAY!!! Last con of the season!!!

So happyhappyhappy!

but still, so behind on the nanowrimo~

Here's an exerpt from this week's "pep-talk" nanowrimo email:
"If there were a zodiac sign for each cycle of the noveling escapade, Week One would undoubtedly be a magnificent galleon at full sail. Week Three would be a road-tested marathon runner, smiling as she catches her second wind. And Week Four would be a lone figure silhouetted against the setting sun, arms raised in triumph.

Unfortunately, Week Two would be represented by a pack of rabid weasels hurling themselves from the treetops onto a group of screaming campers below."

Why hello weasels...care for a s'more? :3

The write without looking back or editing is hard to do sometimes...especially when you know you've put some pretty sorry prose down.

But I can't think of any better writing exercise I've even taken part in.

I'm not sure how far Jon is, but Young has actually started, and the weekend of the con has put me even further behind. >.<

Here's to staying up far too late for the next couple of nights!

That is so freakin' awsome and funny at the same time. You should get a respirator man. Those things are awsome especially around fumes. I got one this semester and it saved my life and brain cells. Plus you can pretend you're like a storm trooper or something.

So finally I'm working on the final product of my ball bearing project. I got the discs to work in my mock up so now I have a clear direction on the final piece which will be made out of birch wood plywood about 1/4 inch thick. Plus I'm thinking of using 1/4 inch diameter wooden dowels for the rails where the ball can travel. I don't even think I have 60 seconds. But at least visually it looks pretty good. We have one more project for the semester which will be the orb project and this time I get to go back using foam. I can't wait until winter break. Funny thing was when I was in my rut and out of work I was thinking how much I missed school.
