If you haven't seen Batman Begins yet, I suggest you do.

If you didn't know Batman is Bruce Wayne, sorry for the spoiler in today's comic.

June 18, 2005 - Saturday

Man, I hate these split shifts. I need to find a new job sometime. Right now I'm at the Mountain View Library waiting for my evening shift for work. This week has been quite busy with a huge 3 day golf tournament. So my cat died. Actually she died sometime last week. 15 years. I would like another pet but I wouldn't be able to spend much time with it much. Plus I've entered the webcomic arena. I'm helping my buddy Neko Ewen with Neko Machi. We were talking in Texas during A-kon and attending the webcomic panels and there was a panel about working in teams. Since Ewen was getting busy with translation work and I need pencil mileage I felt, "What the hey." I'll give it a shot and see how it goes. I've drawn a few strips and it seems like I'm enjoying it. He does the scripts and I do the strip. I don't know, what do you guys think. Go on over and tell me what you like or don't like or think I need to work on. Right now I'm trying to find a good direction on where to take Ewen's webcomic. I bet it will be a short time when I'll start getting lazy on updates and keeping up with the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Other than that I still haven't got on my ass to work on my site. I made a bet with a buddy of mine so by the end of this summer before I start my next semester I have to have my portfolio site up and running. That and I also have to lose 30 pounds. I've gotten really fat. I think I'm at 245. Also I registered for classes. I was hoping to take Chinese 1A and Chinese 10A but I realized that Chinese 1A was 5 units and with the other three ID classes I was enrolled in that would be a total of 14 units and the max load of units to take is 15 unless I get a requisition for permission to take more than 15 units. So stupid. I don't know why one class will be 5 units. I thought they'd be all 3 units. I'll just have to wait on Cantonese I guess and maybe practice that at home and just learn Chinese. At least I'll learn how to read and write. Why Chinese? Well for a long ass time ever since I was born I never could speak Chinese and me being Chinese is like, "Dang. WTF? You're Chinese and can't speak or write it?" Sure I'm an ABC and banana but heck, it's kinda sad when you can't talk to relatives. Man sometimes I wish I was white or something then I wouldn't have to worry about being obliged to learn some language which my heritage is connected to. But then this would be a good thing because if I do learn Chinese and if China takes over the world in the next ten years or so I'd be set and I can find work and kill people because China will be the super power of Earth and they will dominate the economy and I will bring honor to my family by marrying a Chinese wife and maybe polygamy will be reinstated and I'll have concubines and then bind their feet and carry on the lineage of the Leong's and according to my father he always says, "Chinesey is da best!" Man, you should see him during the olympics. He's always rooting for China eventhough he's a US citizen.

I wish I was Irish.
