BAH, HUMBUG! oops, wrong holiday. :3 (please note that I'm posting this in advance, and prolly won't revisit this website until at least a couple days. will not, shall not revisit unpleasantries of last year--nor will I complain. >.< at least I have piles of manga to bury myself in...) Yosh! Off to the shooting range! Then for some steak or Texas BBQ! Yee-HAW! (okay, that last one was cheezy)

OFF TO KATSUCON! SEE YOU THERE SPACE COWBOY! Wow.. it's kind of odd returning to the hotel you went to your first convention at. I was just at the Katsucon hotel, which was also the 1998 Otakon hotel. Especially since I first seen it as a wide eyed fan boy, where everything was new and exciting, and I wasn't into cosplay... and now, I'm there as a dealer, and far more seasoned a con-goer. It's kind of spiritual I guess... things coming full circle. There is no way to really describe my feeling, it was a quiet happy one, that brought a smile to my face as I thought about it. A lot has happened in those five years, I have a job in the industry, I'm a fairly well known cosplayer, I'm slated to be a guest at Onicon in Houston in 2004.. it's all so exciting. But anyway, off my sentimental ramblings and onto real con talk! Friday I'm going to be Kanako Urashima from Love Hina, because there are other Love Hina people going to be there around 2pm just outside the dealer's room for photos. Though probably not right outside the door... but, since I live about 50 minutes from Katsucon, I'm not able to stay the whole day. We're going to sell, then leaving after the dealer's room closes. Bummer... Saturday will be different, Alex is coming to visit and stay for the rest of Katsu, and we'll be hanging out there till late on Saturday! =3 Hopefully I remember to make that karaoke CD I've been wanting to make since Holly had me get up and sing at Ushicon.. man, I was so hoarse I couldn't sing well ^^;; Waaai! Alex just told me he gets friday off after all! So I don't have to leave early! Yaaay! I can hang out and have fun! Woohoo! But anyway.. for Saturday's costume, I'm kinda stuck. Originally, I had said on the cosplay.com board, that I'd be either Mizuho, or Kasumi Tani from Hand Maid May.. but now, I'm thinking of doing a Shirt Ninja from Real Life comics, because I read it while working on AmeriManga.. I'd never read it before, and the shirt ninja comic was hilarious! My roomie David and I are thinking of doing a pair of shirt ninjas.. I get to be the evil black shirt ninja! And I also thought about Vash.. ARGH! No idea what I'm doing for Saturday.. I might stick to Shirt Ninja just to be funny. Anyway.. gotta sleep, if I no sleep.. I no genki for con! Look for me at the I.C. Entertainment booth, we're aaall the way back, near the Game Room door in the Dealer's room. Fred'll be there at the table Saturday and Sunday to sign stuff! =3 PS: Pre-order MegaTokyo Graphic Novel Volume 2!!

Ah yes. It's that time again. Time for a little romance, cuddling, a whole lotta vasaline and pr0n!!!! W00T!!! Okay. TMI. Great day for couples but heck, what about us single people? I wish there was a day that celebrated singularity or something like that. Couples shouldn't have all the fun. Or, in other cases, triples....or even swingers and people like that. Yes, more TMI!!! Yeah, today I would not only like to celebrate the day for couples but the day for singles as well. Happy V-day all! Now I'm gonna travel back in time and look for the St. Valentine dude and assasinate him.

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s day. Take the time to show the people you care about what they mean to you. It doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or a girl. Do what you feel is right. True we could start talking about how Hallmark rules Feb. 14th, or we could talk about the day representing the Saint Valentine’s massacre… but it all comes down to timing. It doesn’t matter what Friday of this week truly means. Take the moment in your hands like the blood of life driven by the heart of the heavens and do what it is you do to show others you care. Don’t go out of your way too much, but don’t just sit there either. Do what it is you do in your nature to show people in a special way that you care. The day is not just about romance… it’s about emotion and feelings. So put some feeling into everything you do today, whether it’s for you or for someone else. As my poetic nature insists, I will leave you with some writing. Okay, I lied. I'm back. :3 I wanted to say something everyone knows already... that in Japan, girls give chocolates to guys... (then it's reciprocated one month later on White Day). ^_~ Anyways, I hope I didn't come across as too bitter. It's a happy day for couples--as it should definitely be. However, if you're outside, please be mindful of your surroundings. Some things are just out of their control, and please remember that no one likes having things rubbed in their faces--including you, right? ...And I always like to think that aggressive public display of anything means that there's something lacking privately or just insecurity. (Evangelism is a good example of that--but I won't go into it now.) Sure it's a heightened time, so just relax and have fun. Remember, only you can prevent forest fires. Well, with all that said and done, Happy President's Day everyone! Now go off, have fun. Shoo shoo. =)

I was about to say I *heard* some really loud cats outside my apt at 2am one of these days ago--forgot which. >.< They stopped after I opened then slammed the door. I guess I ruined their fun. ^_~ ) Ack, I've been in hybernation mode for the past couple days (messed up sleep, computer problems), so I'm totally late one whole complete and a half days, but I just wanted to say: (hope you had a) HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KINGSLEY!!!
