April 9, 2004 - Friday

So I'm just sitting around at work, waiting to get laid off. We're not absolutely 100% positive it's going to happen today, but we've all got that feeling. And frankly, I'm looking forward to it. I haven't enjoyed my job very much, and I'm not overly fond of the company, so I'm not really sorry to go. I'm thinking of it as incentive to start looking for a better job, which I've already started doing. So if any of our lovely readers have any influence in any gaming companies, or at Google (where I've already sent a resume), or any place that needs customer service reps, drop me a line. Back to waiting. ^^

Man, it's so annoying sometimes when like you walk into a room and then one guy comes up to you and yells like Bruce Lee and does some retarded martial arts pose. Just because I'm Chinese doesn't mean I know martial arts....ok, maybe I know some but I stopped trainning over ten years ago. Speaking of annoying retards...well, actually not retards but just people who act retarded, we got a new busser at work. I thought, ok, kewl new busser, he's Mexican, he's a hard worker. Well, my mistake for assuming he's Mexican cause he isn't, he's Salvadorian. Big difference. Did the same thing with this one Peruvian chick who was totally hot and I asked her what she was gonna do on Cinco de Mayo and she said she doesn't celebrate that cause she's from Peru and I'm like I'm so dumb stupid assface assumer. Meh, same with other people who lump all Asians as Chinese. But yeah, back to this Salvadorian. Shy guy. Didn't get to know him much until last week really. The fucker never shuts up. This guy just keeps on talking and talking and talking. Shit, Maybe I shouldn't have said anything about him being Salvadorian cause then some dude out there is gonna think I hate Salvadorians. Ok, he's a Martian. So this Martian wont shut up. Plus, he doesn't work much and says he's a hard work. But mainly, he just wont shut up. I thought is was me. I'm happy it wasn't. The other guys can't stand him. I don't know how he got through the interview process. So yeah, today he did that Bruce Lee trip on me and I was like OMGWTF?! Plus he wanted to know how to say good morning and how are you in my language and I told him how I was born in the US and that I didn't really know that many phrases in Cantonese and he think's I'm Japanese and that I'm holding back in teaching him how to speak whatever language he thinks I speak. Man, what a dump truck. I told him to break down the tables in the dinning room and it took him 30 minutes after he kept on blabbing on about how he had the lotto number for the jack pot two weeks ago but the lotto numbers were for this week and that he was so close to winning. I heard he went up to one of the dish washers and told them that they were washing dishes cause they didn't go to school. I bet he's on everyone's shit list. I'm gonna see how long he lasts. It's kinda scary though. He looks like some dude who can snap at any moment and run in to a room with machine guns and mow people down. Definitely on crack. Gonna wait to see what tomorrow will bring on Easter Sunday. Work is hosting a special Sunday brunch for the club members. I just hope that dude starts talking about God and the devil.
