April 19, 2004 - Monday

Well, I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is, I've settled down into Texas. It's quite nice here, I'm happy, and I've gotten used to the kitty so I don't have any major allergic reactions to Nat's cat. She's quite nice too. She no longer meows at night and settles down to sleep with us in a very courteous manner and only occasionally decides to sniff my face at 7 in the morning from time to time. I've also done some coding. The bad news is, moving has cost me a lot of money and I don't have any of my store stuff with me yet. I can reopen my print store but it was my calendars and shirts that was really keeping Nekobox afloat. Now, I never really intended to make money with Nekobox... and I never wanted people to have to spend money on entertainment which I thought should be free. ^_^ Unfortunately, reality is catching up to me and I can't keep Nekobox up out of my own pocket anymore. I didn't want to have to resort to begging but... please, keep the stuffies fed! ^_^ If you have time today, click on the donate button on the left side and donate a buck, if you can afford it. With over one hundred dollars in bandwidth bills every month, I don't know how much longer I can keep Nekobox up! I'm applying to places for jobs so if I get a job, Nekobox can resume being beg-free... I'm also putting up some artwork at Sakura-con and Acen so come by and make a neko happy. ^_^

Dude. I find today's comic quite ironic cause of something I'm working on similar to the subject of cat people for Neko Machi. But yeah, I'm a total pussy ass whipping boy cause I can't ask this one girl out at work. I got no guts hence I am pussy. But dang, those cat ears and tail look pretty schnazzy. Speaking of which, I always wonder why cat people are so much the choice of creating or drawing and stuff. I mean like why not squirrels or mice or even llamas? I think llamas are cute. What about chinchillas? Those are so adorable. Wouldn't chinchilla people be more cuter that cat people. I guess it because cats are more domesticated by people. I'm not saying I don't like cats. They are cute. But it seems a lot of people use cat people as a driving device for story telling and stuff. But then I'm beginning to sound like some retard on the internet making a useless statement about something little. Heh heh, furries just came across my mind. Those guys are so funny. Maybe I can start a whole new breed of rabid fandomism and call it mechies. Yeah, and I'll have really disturbing mechie pr0n as well. Then I'll put cat ears on them.
