Mmmmm.....nuthin' like being shafted at work as usual. Ya know, sometimes I wonder why do I bust so much ass at work knowing that I'm gonna get shafted one way or another. Take today, Easter Sunday. They had a special Sunday brunch goin' on today with a whole lotta people which meant a whole lotta tips. But hell, they don't even bother to schedule me to work that shift. So I'm stuck working the evening shift doing room service which I made $4.16 in tips. $4.16 in friggin' tips. WHOOP DEE friggin' DOO!!! While other people who worked the brunch shift got to take home $100 to $300 in tips. Sucks! Top it off, they leave early and leave a nice mess for me to take care of. Thanks a lot dumptrucks. But in a sense I did get the last laugh cause I really made my supervisors feel really guilty. I mean after working there for about 4 months and showing the amount of hard work I've put in, they couldn't help apologizing. Plus they promised me a shift for Mother's day brunch. That'll make up for it I guess.
In other news today, I got Friday and Saturday off this week which is like....WOW and OMFG and HFS! This Saturday were gonna be LANing Freelancer at Seans pad. Pretty kewl game, tried the demo, gonna grab a copy. On Friday I'll be hanging out with an old middle school buddy of mine. Haven't seen each other in a while too. Well, actually I saw him last Wednesday but before that we hadn't seen each other in a while. This guy is a trip though. He can draw really well. I mean, back in middle school I hated him cause of that. He would grab a ball point pen and a clean sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper and just draw without lifting the pen and get a really good drawing. Kinda makes me wanna draw now. Oh yeah, Happy Easter. I know, I'm a little late.
