April 23, 2003 - Wednesday

I'd figure by now that so much crap has happened we shoulda hit an all low time trough. But things seemed to have gone even more down hill. I can feel that especially at work. Seems like they laid off five people. One from food and beverage, one from front desk, one from coordination, one from engineering, and one from sales. That and my work place is on a hiring freeze for some departments. I got some serious overtime today. Which is bad cause we're not suppose to get any overtime but it couldn't be helped today. Two people called in sick. Had to cover their shifts and on top of that, I still had to do my tasks. However lately I haven't been able to really complete any of my tasks because it seems I keep on being pulled aside for another thing. That and there isn't enough of other people to cover the things I need to do when I get pulled away to do other things. It sucks cause I feel like I'm doing a bad job. Usually what happens is the stuff that I have to do I get done like a quarter way and then I get pulled aside to do other stuff which gets partly done and then I don't have enough time to get other things done which I have to put off for the next day I work. I wish I could just focus on one thing and get it complete and then move on to the next task. I know I'm a hard worker at work. People say that at work. They like me and say, "You the man, King!" Then I say, "Feh! If I was the man then were is my palace and where are my harlots?! I demand harlots dammit! HARLOTS!!!!" Then they look at me weird and tell me what I have to do. I guess it's all good and stuff. I get a lotta attention and people know me cause if they need something I'll do it. I make a great grunt. But sometimes.....sometimes I just wonder. Sometimes I wonder if they're just saying that. Sometimes I wonder if they're looking at me, and just like in those Bugs Bunny cartoons when Bugs out smarts Elmer Fudd and then you cut to a close up of Elmer Fudds face and it cross dissovles into a lolipop with the word "sucker" on it, they see me and my head cross dissolves into a lolipop with the word "sucker" on it. Or maybe it becomes like a donkey head or something. ......... WAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! My mother got a speeding ticket!!!! WAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! Take that mom!!! WAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! He's a good bear!!! Sorry, I just had to do that. Anyway, yeah, I feel like a lolipop and donkey sometimes. Ya know, it like ya bust so much ass but ya get little for it. I know I shouldn't expect anything from it and just do it outta heart. I guess I do maybe. But it'd be nice if they saw how much ass I was busting and give me like an Xbox with Dead or Alive Beach Volley Ball or something like that. Or maybe a palace and some nice looking harlots....mmmmmm.....harlots....

So in the span of 24 hours, I've managed to throw out my back horribly, brake my computer beyond my knowledge of repair to the point where it won't even turn on anymore, and I think I've only gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the last 24, due to pain. >_< Someone shoot me. HOO YEAH! More friggin' overtime! Man, I'm so gonna get written up for this. Ok, nuff about work. I haven't met Vaz. Well, I did meet him but not in person. Only on IRC. It'd be kewl to meet him though. He's a kewl guy. You can tell cause of his web comic. Well, at least I think he's a kewl guy. So I would like to meet him. So let's get this hombre to Nor Cal for Fanime. Heck, I'll pitch in for his trip and he don't have to draw me nuthin'. Ya know, I wanted an art table this year at Fanime Con. I was gonna share some space with Young. But I've nothing to show. I'm not prepared and stuff. I really had no goal. It was something where I said, I wanna do this. But I had no goal. I really gotta set goals man. I really didn't know what I wanted to do for this. I was way too picky about doing fanart. I had no original ideas. And most of all I've been a lazy ass. Well, I guess I'm gonna do what I always do every year and head off to the dealers room and buy stuff. That and just have fun with the Nekobox crew. Maybe next year I'll get an art table. But I said that last year and last last year and last last last year and I haven't done anything. Hmmm....I can't think of anything else to say.
