So, more dead Merle. Why? Because Merle is a busy Merle. So I've made 80 black t-shirts to sell at Akon, prepared 100 of 600 CD covers for my CDs to sell at Akon, I still have to make laminated cards but I can't do that until my lamination sleeves come in, and I still have to order some cafe press merchandise to sell.

But, it's all slowly coming together.

Still dead though. With a little luck, my CDs will come in within a week and I'll have those all packed up pretty quickly. The laminated sleeves should come in in a few days and that shouldn't take more than a day to do. Whew. So busy. In other news...

Help support Vaz!

Vaz is in need of moola for Fanime. He's a great artist and Nats linked him yesterday, but I don't think many people saw it, so please! Go bid on his watercolor!

Also, I'm doing a crossover with a friend of mine, so go read his comics too! Here!

Oh, and yes, that was a real sign I saw in San Francisco.

Go and friggin' see "Identity!" It's got some trippy ass stuff yo!

Heh, it's just about that time when a mad frenzy of highly caffinated, sleep-deprived people frolick together towards several randomly dispersed events, yet they seem to be oddly clumped together with regard to timespan. o.O Yes, that time of anime conventions. ^^

While rummaging thru my job search books, something caught my eye, and thus I learned a new word: malodorous.

Then it occured to me that I should share this. To best learn words, you should use it frequently; however, this might come across as particularly embarassing if pronunciated in the suggested way. You can sound less conspicuous if instead you place the major emphasis on the "mal-", and the secondary emphasis on the "-dor-".

Regardless, try to use it in every day speech, and believe me, you'll have plenty of opportunity! =) Say it loudly! Say it proudly! I shall list some examples on how you might use it.

Passing businessman:
"You wouldn't believe it! As soon as we eliminated the malodorous factors within our strategic profile, we streamlined efficiency, raised profits, maintained synergy, and captured 73% of marketshare!"

Magical girl cosplay:
"For truth, and justice... and regional sanity!
I vanquish thou vile aura!
Celestial anti-malodorous misty wind of Laisawle!"

Samurai cosplay:
"TEME! ... " (something about ugly hair and a soiled shirt)
"... SAIKO MARODORONAI KEN!" (Sorry, I tried, but I don't know enough Japanese. :( )
Oops! I meant, "RYU!"

Oh well. If all else fails, I guess you could always buy one of these. ^_~

(Sadly, I have plans to attend only one of these conventions. So get a lot of practice! I expect to hear it used often where appropriate when I'm there! ^_~)
